One of the most valuable tools at our disposable when it comes to learning to calm ourselves and self-soothe is our BREATH. The way in which we breathe can provide a sense of calm and focus, and allow us to recenter our emotions, soothe our anxiety and quiet our emotional upset. Changing the way in which we breathe is SO powerful, that this ONE strategy alone can reset our nervous system and allow us to work through challenging circumstances with a newfound ability to cope. At WAY WELLNESS, we will be offering workshops to learn beginner-friendly, accessible breathing tools that can be easily incorporated into all facets of a teen’s life – be it at home, at school, or in complex social situations.
